Job Position:

Sign Maker, Graphics & Digital Printer

Full Time, Permanent, £18,500 - £24,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent,
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday

The Role:

This is an interesting, practical, and diverse position in a small creative team. The range of work varies tremendously and can include: producing and fitting display & exhibition graphics and small signage graphics, printing large format inkjet posters banners, fine art & photography, laminating and mounting graphics, digital printing of everything from business cards to leaflets & posters, scanning & photographing of customers original artwork.
The work is fast paced and periodically will include fitting on-site at local venues such as the universities, the castle, galleries and public places.
We are looking for an enthusiastic & motivated candidate to join our team. We will offer training on elements of the job that the candidate is not familiar with. (Having the right attitude and aptitude in a small enthusiastic team to help us provide a great service is just as important)!

The Candidate: 

• Should be computer literate and comfortable using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator or similar software.
• Enjoy working in a busy production environment, on their own or as part of a small team.
• Have lots of enthusiasm with a strong problem-solving attitude.
• Have good practical skills, an eye for detail and strive to maintain our high standards.
• Should be keen to learn new techniques & skills and think on their feet.
• Have good communication skills and be happy talking to customers.
• Be looking for a long-term career in a growing creative graphics business.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy rolls of paper etc.
• Have a car and full driving license.

Education Required:

GCSE’s English & Maths
(Further/higher education in a graphics, design or practical related course is preferable although not a prerequisite).
